It has come to attention of Balkrishna Industries Limited (“BKT”) that certain unauthorised and fraudulent communications, advertisements, websites, domain names and social media posts are being circulated by unscrupulous persons/entities misusing the “BKT” name, brand, logo and/or deceptively similar identities.

These fraudulent communications falsely purport to represent an affiliation with BKT and, inter alia, offer or solicit distributorships, dealerships, employment opportunities or other commercial arrangements, frequently accompanied by:

• requests for application / registration / security deposits / processing fees;
• issuance of fake offer letters or appointment communications; and/or
• use of fraudulent email IDs, websites or lookalike domain names.

BKT hereby clarifies and cautions the public as follows:

1. No Authorization
   BKT unequivocally states that it has not authorised, endorsed or appointed any person, agency or intermediary to issue such communications or to collect any monies or information on its behalf through unofficial channels.
2. Fraudulent Nature
   Such communications are fraudulent in nature and intended to deceive the public. They do not originate from, nor are they endorsed by BKT in any manner whatsoever.
3. Recruitment Policy Disclaimer
   BKT follows a strict merit-based selection and engagement process and does not charge or accept any fees or other payments at any stage of recruitment.
4. Official Channels Only
   All legitimate communications from BKT are issued only through:
   • its official website;
   • authorised domain-based email addresses; and
   • duly authorised representatives.

   Any communication originating from free email services or suspicious domain variations should be treated as fraudulent.

5. Public Advisory
   Individuals are strongly advised not to respond to such fraudulent communications, and not to:
   • Share personal or financial information;
   • Make any payments or deposits;
   • Click on suspicious links or attachments.
6. Risk and Liability
   Any person choosing to engage with such unauthorised or fraudulent communications shall do so entirely at their own risk, cost and consequences.

   BKT expressly disclaims all liability for any loss, damage, claim or expense (whether direct or indirect) arising out of or in connection with reliance upon or interaction with such fraudulent representations.

7. Vigilance Encouraged
   The public is encouraged to exercise utmost caution and verify authenticity before engaging in any business, employment or commercial arrangement in the name of BKT.
8. Reporting
   Individuals are advised to verify the authenticity of any communication by contacting BKT through its official website and to report suspicious activities for appropriate action.

BKT reserves the right to initiate appropriate civil and criminal proceedings against persons/entities involved in such fraudulent acts, including misuse of its name, trademarks and intellectual property.
